There is a new item to add to your list of what drops for this year. In Cumberland County North Carolina in a town called Eastover they will be dropping a flea. There's a section of Eastover called Flea Hill. It is named that because they once had a severe infestation of fleas. Well, they now have a 65 pound flea that will be dropped for the first time this year. I think that puts North Carolina at the top of the list for things dropped. We have: Acorn in Raleigh, Pickle in Mt. Olive, Lighted Beach Ball at Carolina Beach, Possum in Brasstown, and now the Flea in Eastover. Call Guiness!!

I am trying to track down companies that manufacture fruits to drop on New Years, like the apple in Manhattan, Kansas or the oranges that drop in various cities? Any ideas? ben.shoval@shoval.com
